Nearly two decades of clinical practice behind her, Henriette is the multi-award-winning hygienist with an eye for details, precise hands and a calmly professional manner. Trained at Stellenbosch University in South Africa, she combined clinical practice with periods of lecturing where she garnered considerable respect from colleagues in the dental profession. Her arrival in the UK ten years ago was followed by the accolades and National Awards, together with a string of top reviews from patients, fellow clinicians and specialists. Above all, her strength is in seeking to understand each clinical problem thoroughly and in working tenaciously to solve each aspect of the problem. Team-working with the patient gets her results even with those who have seen several clinicians without completing their treatment. Add her broad awareness of underlying causes such as undiagnosed diabetes, lesions of the mouth or vitamin deficiencies and it is clear that her clinical care has solid foundations.
