Anju Thapa is a dedicated and caring Dental Hygiene Therapist with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, originally trained in Bangladesh, and experience working in both Nepal and the UK. She joined the UK dental profession after gaining experience as a dentist overseas and completing her UK training as a Dental Nurse, giving her a broad understanding of patient care and the dental practice environment.

Anju has a particular interest in preventive and periodontal care, including scaling and polishing, oral hygiene education and helping patients develop good long-term oral health habits. She also has experience working with children and is confident in providing a friendly and reassuring approach to younger patients.

Originally from Nepal, Anju speaks English, Nepali, Hindi and Bengali, which allows her to communicate with a wide range of patients. She is approachable, patient-focused and enjoys building positive relationships with those she cares for. Outside of her clinical work, she is passionate about continuing her professional development and contributing positively to the dental team.
